A monobodied high velocity pressure vacuum valve, with the vacuum side integrated into the pressure safety valve, has been long awaited by the industry.
With its centre of gravity in the middle of the valve, and hence in the centre line of the pipe, it offers a great advantage compared to existing designs. It also makes the circumference of the valve smaller, reducing the valves footprint if you like. This means that there is more room to manouvre when doing maintenance to the valves.
Also in this respect the monobodied valve offers its users, the great benefit of being able to service both the pressure and the vacuum side of the valve in the same operation. Opening the body from above, all moving parts can be reached and checked at the same time.
